No doubt a lot of you reading this woke up on Christmas morning and found that Santa left you a nice copy of Call Of Duty WW2. For those of you who are new to the game, I wanted to share some easy ways that you can level up pretty quickly all the while having fun.
Domination Mode: In this mode, you want to make sure that you are actually doing the objective. You get a ton of XP for taking over and holding the zones so do not just focus on running around killing people, make taking care of the zones your priority and you will make far more XP.
Hardpoint: In this mode, you need to hold a point that keeps moving around the map. The real kicker here is to kill people while you are holding the point and you will make some serious XP!
Team Deathmatch: Ahh the old classic! If you find doing objectives in Domination and Hardpoint tough, just running around killing as many people as you can is how you can have fun and make XP in the process.
War Mode: I love War Mode and it can be great for earning XP. If you are in the target area when an objective is being completed, you will make a nice extra bonus when it comes to XP. This is not really for beginners, but War Mode, once you get used to what the objectives are, can really level you up quickly.
In the coming weeks, we can expect to hear a lot more information about Battlefield V which is due for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC later in 2018. It is set during World War II and from what I have recently read, will be a kind of sequel to the awesome Battlefield 1 which sounds very interesting to me.
Well, we all know what happened with Star Wars Battlefront II on the Microtransactions front. Battlefront II was also made by Dice and put out by EA so many gamers, were understandably worried that Battlefield V may have a loot box system that is unfair or maybe some kind of pay to win system which Star Wars Battlefront II certainly had.
Star Wars Battlefront II is actually a fine game, there is a lot of good in it, but the damage is now done and the black mark next to its name will never be erased. Not only that, it put a really dark light on the whole industry.
Battlefield V though is not going the Star Wars Battlefront II route thankfully.
“No one’s gonna do any pay-to-win stuff anymore,” one person close to the next Battlefield told me recently. “We didn’t take any of the loot box controversy lightly.”
That is a direct quote and I have also since learned that any loot boxes that are going to be in Battlefield V will be for cosmetic items only. I like this and think it is a good way to go about loot boxes. Taking the way Overwatch handles their loot boxes is a good way to go if you ask me and it sounds like that is the kind of thing that Dice are looking to do with Battlefield V.
How Is The Resistance Division In Call Of Duty WW2
While I talked a great deal about The Resistance Event in Call Of Duty WWII. I never actually talked much about the actual Resistance Division which was added to the game during this event and I thought that today I would share my thoughts on The Resistance Division.
What I like about The Resistance Division is the way it plays like a run and gun style of class, but it also has many stealth elements. Even from the first level, you get access to the tactical knife which can dish out a one hit melee kill, it is awesome!
Level 2 sees you have the ability to scramble nearby enemy maps which is really handy when you are trying to creep up on someone. Level 3 gives you an extra attachment as well as allowing you to swap weapons faster. I know that this sounds kind of “meh” but this is the kind of upgrade that comes in really handy without you even realizing it is there.
Level 4 though is where it is really at. Level 4 sees you being able to see enemies on your mini map when they are close. If you are running around looking to take people out with your tactical knife, this is a very handy ability to have.
I think that The Resistance Division is a lot of fun. I would not say that it is the class I will always play as, but I have had a lot of fun with it. If you are not too good at stealth in first person shooters (like me) this is a great way to be able to play a little stealthy, but also do a lot of damage. Let me know what you think of the Resistance Division in Call Of Duty WWII in the comments section down below.
To say that Call Of Duty WW2 is a monster of a hit is a huge understatement. Despite only being released a few months before the end of the year, Call Of Duty WW2 was the biggest selling game of 2017 and that has continued all the way into 2018 and it shows no signs of slowing down.
With the Call Of Duty Resistance Pack here, more people are probably going to pick the game up. I could not find the exact sales figures for Call Of Duty WW2, however, over in the UK, it has reached a series milestone as it has spent its tenth week at the top of the UK sales chart. Not only that it has been said that it sold over 60 percent more copies than Infinite Warfare which sold over 11 million copies. If you do the math, Call Of Duty WW2 has to be at the 20 million mark at least so it is not totally unrealistic that in the next six months or so it could surpass, Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 which is the biggest selling game in the series with over 30 million copies sold.
I think the reason that this most recent COD is doing so well is all down to it not just returning to World War II. It is because it is one of the finest first person shooters of the last few years. It features an awesome campaign (that I have played through twice) a robust multiplayer mode, a fantastic zombies mode and it is going to be supported very well with DLC throughout the year. Even if you do not spend a penny on the DLC, you are still getting a ton of content for your money with just the basic package.
Sledgehammer Games deserve all the praise they are getting for Call Of Duty WW2 and it would be great for them if they manage to take the Call Of Duty sales record.
