Predictions For Call Of Duty 2018

Predictions For Call Of Duty 2018

Today I am having a little bit of fun as I share a few of the things that I feel could and if I am being honest, want to happen in the 2018 version of Call Of Duty. Call Of Duty WW2 is one of the best games in years so Call Of Duty 2018 is going to have a lot to live up to. Anyway here are a few things that I think could be part of Call Of Duty WW2.

No Futuristic Warfare

From what little has leaked, Call Of Duty 2018 appears to be set in a more modern time (thanks to a Treyarch job listing) however with the more realistic approach to Call Of Duty WWII being so popular, I do not think there will be any wall running or jet packing in the next Call Of Duty… which if I am honest I am not sure I am super happy about, but I learned to live without in COD WWII.

A New Take On Zombies

We have had goofy and funny zombies and in Call Of Duty WWII Nazi Zombies, we had really scary and horror themed zombies. I think that Treyarch may have something different in store for us with their zombie's mode. Heck, they may even decide that zombies are a bit overplayed and decide to use aliens, monsters or mutants!

A Fantastic Single Player Campaign

There are all kinds of crazy things going on in the world right now with high tension with places like Russia and North Korea and I fully expect any kind of modern Call Of Duty campaign to tie into this. I think that with things in the world being the way they are right now. In tapping into this, the campaign in Call Of Duty 2018 has the potential to be one of the most hard hitting ones yet!

These are just a few of the things I could see happening in Call Of Duty 2018, I would love to know what your predictions are in the comments section down below.

How The Changes To Prop Hunt In COD WW2 Make It Even Better

How The Changes To Prop Hunt In COD WWII Make It Even Better

How The Changes To Prop Hunt In COD WWII Make It Even Better

As you know, I have been all about Prop Hunt in Call Of Duty WWII since it arrived as part of the Resistance Event. This is a mode I had a lot of fun with in Modern Warfare, but Sledgehammer Games have made a few tweaks to the Prop Hunt formula that make the mode even more fun.

There is less chance of the match ending in a draw thanks to the way Sledgehammer Games have factored time and kills into the formula for deciding a winner. Also when you are hiding you get the chance to earn more points depending on what you are hiding as. Hiding as something small like a crate is a lot easier than hiding than a bloody great big truck! However, if you do successfully hide as the truck, you will earn yourself some extra points for the trouble.

One thing that I love in Prop Hunt which I feel adds to the tactical aspect of it is the way you can spawn in a couple of decoys to help you out. So if you have to hide as a crate, for example, you can spawn in a couple more that you can place around you to make you look a little less suspicious. Of course, if you place these in a weird way, it is certainly going to arouse suspicion!

Unfortunately, Prop Hunt is not from what I understand going to be a full time addition to Call Of Duty WW2 which is a real shame as it is a mode that I have had a lot of fun with.

What You Need To Know About Prop Hunt In Call Of Duty WWII

What You Need To Know About Prop Hunt In Call Of Duty WWII

With Call Of Duty WWII The Resistance now being here, many of us are very excited by the fact that Prop Hunt is part of this event. For those of us who played the PC version of Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare or even those who picked up the remastered version of Modern Warfare with Infinite Warfare in 2016, you will have some idea about the awesomeness that is Prop Hunt. Today I wanted to share a couple of tips to help you out.

Only One Survivor Is Needed

The team who are hunting needs to kill every “prop” on the opposing team. But the prop team only need one player to survive in order to win the round. So even if you get killed pretty early on, there is still hope.

Do Not Shoot Like A Maniac

When you are on the hunt, your first instinct may be to just start opening fire on everything. All this is going to do is waste your time! Instead be a little bit more methodical and think about what looks like it is out of place. You will have far better luck doing this rather than keeping your trigger on the finger the whole time.

Pick Your Prop Carefully

To be honest, even in Call Of Duty WWII Prop Mode, I much prefer playing as the hunter than the hider. But when I do have to hide, I try my best to pick the best prop. Think about the area you are in and what can blend in the best. Sometimes hiding in the most obvious plain site can result in people just walking on past you.

Prop Hunt is a lot of fun and I think it is a welcome addition to Call Of Duty WWII. The best advice I can give on this mode is to just have fun with it as that is what it is all about. It is not meant to be taken too seriously.

What Other Fixes Were Added To Call Of Duty WW2 In Resistance Update

As you know, Call Of Duty WWII just dropped The Resistance and having spent a few hours with it last night, I can tell you it is a lot of fun. While we all know the most obvious updates such as new guns, the new division and of course the return of Prop Hunt and Demolition modes. There is some stuff that Sledgehammer fixed in Call Of Duty WWII and I wanted to share a few of the things I found interesting.

On console (especially PS4 in my case) there was a spectator glitch where you would be stuck in spectator mode, this has been addressed.

There was a change to the way you regenerate health in that it does not take quite as long now. I can tell you this has saved my butt a few times already.

You will no longer have your eardrums destroyed by the announcer in War Mode as they have fixed the uneven way the volume would change.

Footsteps are not quite as loud anymore. To be honest I did not even notice this, but apparently, your footsteps and the enemy footsteps are no longer quite as loud.

Friendly shellshock, this has been a hot topic in the world of Call Of Duty WWII. But many players hated the way friendly shellshock in Call Of Duty WWII was handled. If a teammate threw one, you were punished! Now you can still move freely, but the screen will still shake and your view will be compromised. Sledgehammer Games have stated they may fix this further.

These are just a few of the fixes that are working in the background of the new Call Of Duty WWII The Resistance Event. To be fair Sledgehammer Games are pretty awesome at working on the game and fixing little things that help make the overall experience better.

Was Treyarchs Cryptic Tweet About Call Of Duty 2018?

While I am still very into Call Of Duty WWII and the Resistance Event has certainly gotten me even more hooked. I would be not being 100 percent honest if I said that I did not have one eye on what Treyarch are cooking up for Call Of Duty 2018.

There was a rather weird tweet put out yesterday by David Vonderhaar, who has been deep in the Call Of Duty trench since World At War and he is a guy who loves to talk to the fans. Well, this tweet really does not make much sense as he said,

DAMN. Been a long time since I went that hard, that long. To be honest, I'm glad my last version got 💩 on.

I wasn't showing the commitment to my own convictions about what we are doing, but I was too close to see it. This version kept it 💯.”

Which when you read it ten times still does not make a lot of sense, but the whole internet is buzzing that this could be a cryptic tweet about the next Call Of Duty game. Was Treyarch working on something and then Activision said no, we want you to do this instead? Could it be a Black Ops 4? Maybe it is something that is a whole new Call Of Duty Experience? There was a job posting a while back looking for people who had an understanding of modern military equipment so that could all tie into what the next Call Of Duty game is going to be.

There is still a lot of mileage left in Call Of Duty WWII and going back to WWII was a lot of fun, but I would love to see another call Of Duty set in the modern age and I think Treyarch is the team that can really pull it off.

Call Of Duty WW11 Airborne Division

Getting rid of the create a class system and adding the new Division system in Call Of Duty WWII was a brave step. To be honest with you, while at first glance it may seem like a radical departure, it is very similar to what we have been used to for the last 10 years. Today though, we are taking a closer look at Airborne Division.

We really like the Airborne Division in Call Of Duty WWII. It offers you a kind of run and gun style of gameplay, but it is a little stealthier than what Infinitry Division offers. It is the Division Skill that makes this such a popular “class”. You see you can get a suppressor which hides your fire on the map, but at the result of losing a little accuracy, but if you are playing as Airborne Division to be more stealthy, it does not matter.

If you are the kind of player who likes to get in and out of a situation, Airborne Division is for you. Some of the other perks that are offered are about letting you run faster, longer and also allowing you to climb quicker. It is great for getting in, taking someone down quick and then getting out of there before their buddies realize what went wrong.

The Thompson M1928 is the primary weapon and with the suppressor, as you will be trying to get in and close, we really think this gun is fine for most people. Sure tinker around a little and see if another loadout suits you best. For us, though it is the way you move quickly and quietly more so than the actual loadout that makes Airborne Division one of the best classes in Call Of Duty WWII.

Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare Halloween Event
Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare Halloween Event!

Now, this is a pleasant surprise! While all eyes are firmly on Call Of Duty World War II. Most of us thought that Activision had pretty much wiped their hands clean of Infinite Warfare, well as far as new content went. But that has proven not to be the case.

While we all know that Overwatch is having their annual Halloween event. The big surprise this week is that Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare is also going to be having some fun this Halloween. Running up until the 1st of November. Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare players will be able to score some awesome supply drops that have themed loot. The event is being called Willard Wyler’s Halloween Scream and it sounds like a blast. The Carnage multiplayer map looks awesome and we are also getting double XP as well.

A new game mode is being added called Gesture Warfare which allows you to kill opponents by using hand gestures! Now this sound crazy, but it looks like something that is going to be a ton of fun.

There has also been talk of boss battles from the Zombies mode being made into their own thing, but this is one thing that Activision has not really been clear on. We do not know if they are adding bosses to the zombie's maps or putting them all together in their own mode. Either way, you can count us in with this as our modded controllers are awesome in zombies mode.

We think it is really cool that Activision are having this last update in Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare as one last hurrah for the game before Call Of Duty World War II is released.

We all know that each year, Call Of Duty is going to be one of the best selling games of the year, even though it is always released in the last few months of the year. Even Infinite Warfare, while not as huge as previous games, sold like hotcakes and put up numbers many other games could only dream of.
Well, a picture has gone viral from the PlayStation 4 version of Call Of Duty WW2 that showed there are currently an incredible 12 million players who are part of the online community! This is just insane, especially when you consider it has been out for just a few months. For me personally, PlayStation 4 (especially with our epic modded controllers) is the format that I have spent most of my time with Call Of Duty WW2I on. The community is great and I can honestly say that I have never had any kind of issue finding a game and since Call Of Duty WWII launched, Xbox Live has had a few problems that have really annoyed gamers trying to get online and have a game.
We all knew that Call Of Duty WWII was a huge selling game and that pretty much everyone who played it was having a blast. But to see it right in front of your face that the game has sold well over 10 million copies really does show that even after all these years, Call Of Duty is a huge franchise and one of the biggest in the history of gaming.

The History Of The Rainbow Six Series Part 4
The History Of The Rainbow Six Series Part 4

Here we go again as we look at the next installment in the Rainbow Six series.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3 (2003/2004) Xbox, PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube

Rainbow Six was no stranger to console having appeared on PlayStation, Nintendo 64 and Sega Dreamcast. But this would be the series’ first entry on this generation of console. The game was originally released on the Xbox before making an appearance on the PlayStation 2 and GameCube the following year.

While this version is called Rainbow Six 3, you will notice the subtitle is missing. That is because the console versions are completely different to the PC. There is no complex planning of missions before you do them like in the PC version (which is one of the major things about the Rainbow Six series) and in general, the game has a much more action feel to it. The story was also very different to what the PC version offered. The rainbow team is sent to South America to investigate a series of terrorist attacks and soon finds out that it is the president of Venezuela who is behind them.

Players now only control one character, Ding Chavez who is the field commander of the Rainbow team. You can still dish out orders to the rest of the team, but you only have direct control of the one character. In general, this is a much more streamlined Rainbow Six experience. But while this sounds bad, Rainbow Six 3 on console is actually a very fun game in its own right, especially the Xbox version which got great reviews at the time. The PlayStation and GameCube versions of the game did not get quite as high review scores at the time.

The History Of The Rainbow Six | Raven Shield
The History Of The Rainbow Six 3

Get ready for some more tactical shooting action as we are now on part three of our Rainbow Six retrospective.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield (2003) PC

In 2003, the Rainbow Six series would take a few steps towards falling in line more with what other console shooters were offering at the time. As crazy as it sounds, this is the first game to allow you to actually see your gun like in a regular first person shooter. Rainbow Six 3 would also be released on console, but those versions were vastly different

Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield featured a pretty cool story that started way back in the 1940,s where there was something of an evil Croatian regime that was topped and the men behind it disappeared. The story fast forwards to modern times where Rainbow team is required to stop a range of terrorist attacks which open up a whole can of worms and have a link to events of the past. Like all Tom Clancy games it is a story full of twists and turns and it was generally very well received.

Gameplay wise, Raven Shield offered what Rainbow Six fans had come to love about the series. In depth tactical based combat. But the vastly increased amount of weapons and more action heavy sections showed that the people behind the game knew where the first person shooter genre was heading and this was their attempt to keep their current fan base all the while pulling in that hardcore FPS player.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield sold millions of copies, had many expansion packs and was critically acclaimed by nearly all who reviewed it. It still stands as one of the most popular games in the series.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 Loot Boxes Need Some Work
Star Wars Battlefront 2 Loot Boxes Need Some Work

After spending a lot of time with the Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta, the game is a ton of fun and is shaping up to be one of the best shooters of 2017. DICE really have done an amazing job and they really are pumping the game full of content.

Loot boxes in games are going to be a major thing in the next couple of years. Overwatch is what we have to thank for that, but to be fair, Overwatch handles their loot boxes (or crates) very well. But Star Wars Battlefront 2 is showing the ugly side of loot boxes. Rather than just get items that will change the appearance of your characters. The loot boxes in Star Wars Battlefront 2 are all about enhancing your character. Buffs that make you do more damage or take less damage. New and more powerful weapons and things that will make a real difference on the battlefield. The problem is the way you earn “currency” in the game is pretty messed up and you get no more currency for carrying your team to victory than if you are the weakest player on your team!

Plus it takes what feels like an age to earn enough to get a loot box that contains a Star Card which has an upgrade that it is a grind that feels like a bit of a slap in the face. One popular YouTuber made the point that the upgrade system in Battlefront 2 is like what you would find in a free to play game and it is hard to argue with that.

From a gameplay point of view, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is incredible, but it will be interesting to see if players are going to be happy with the way these loot boxes are handled.

Tips For War Mode In Call Of Duty WWII

Tips For War Mode In Call Of Duty WWII
Tips For War Mode In Call Of Duty WWII

ModsRus Mod Controllers Xb1 & Playstation 4

War Mode is one of the best new things that Sledgehammer Games added to Call Of Duty WWII. While we wish there were a few more maps, we have had a blast with this mode and wanted to share a few basic tips with you for this mode so you can have as much fun as we are.

You Have To Work As A Team

We cannot think of another game mode in Call Of Duty that requires teamwork as much as War Mode. In an ideal world, you will have a headset so you can communicate with the rest of your squad. If you do not, make sure you are doing your part, completing objectives or even becoming a human target so that one of your teammates can complete an objective while the enemy is busy with you.

Use Smoke Grenades

Smoke grenades… really? Well yes, while these are kind of useless in most other game modes, War Mode is not like other game modes in Call Of Duty WWII. Smoke grenades can allow you to get in and build that bridge, or provide cover so you can get away from that tank. As soon as you have them unlocked, add them to your loadout.

Take Advantage Of Your Defenses

When you are playing on the defensive side, take the time to build up your defenses. This can be a great way to make the enemy go where you want them to go or even get them to try and take them down, leaving them vulnerable as they do.

Use Your Knowledge Of The Maps

As there are only three maps, you will know them very well. Use this to your advantage. Anticipate the areas that the enemy is most likely going to attack from and set up a trap. Find areas that are easy to hide in so you can make it to an objective. Just take the time to learn the maps as best you can.

Overwatch Halloween Terror | Now Live 2017
Overwatch Halloween Terror 2017 Is Now Live!

Overwatch is an awesome game. It is not just that it is a very fun and accessible first person shooter. But the whole style and lore behind it that has really gotten people hooked. Blizzard really did knock it out of the park.

Last year, Junkenstein's Revenge was a huge success and now the mode is back as part of this year’s Halloween event. But rather than just playing through a few hordes of enemies. You can now play it for as long as you like in order to see how long you can last. The real star though is the new Halloween themed skins which people are going crazy for and really praying that they are going to get when they open up a loot box. There is going to be a ton of cool new items for us to try and get and we have until the 2nd of November to get them which should hopefully be enough time to make it happen.

The fact that Blizzard is giving this away for free is one of the reasons that so many people get into Overwatch. Sure you have to grind like hell to get them all, but as the game is so much fun to play, many people really do not mind this at all.

So remember you have until November 2nd to take advantage of this. This is certainly something we are going to do as we were really bummed out last year when they took Junkenstein's Revenge away after the event finished!

Call Of Duty WWII Winter Siege Coming In December
Call Of Duty WWII Winter Siege Coming In December

As we all know, Call Of Duty WWII is going to be heavily supported by DLC and fun events for the next year. Well, the first bit of “big” event that we have to look forward to is called The Winter Siege and it is coming on the 8th of December. We are really pumped for this and wanted to talk a little bit about it today.

The Winter Siege sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun. What is interesting is that while this is the first big event for Call Of Duty WWII, we do not actually know a whole lot about it. What we do know is that the event will be utilizing the Carentan map which as of right now is something that people who bought the Call Of Duty WWII season pass could use. But in this event, the map is going to be available for everyone. However, the map is going to be covered with snow, which we think sounds very interesting.

As far as we know this event is going to run until January and Sledgehammer while keeping quiet on the details have said that there is going to be a lot of stuff packed into this event. Also while the event is getting all the focus, various bug fixes are also planned to be rolled out along with the Winter Siege which is always nice to hear.

We are really looking forward to the Call Of Duty WWII Winter Siege which is just a week or so away and we would love to know what you guys think about it.

What Would Have Made The Call Of Duty WW2 Campaign Better?    Let me start by saying I do not...
Call Of Duty WW2 Infantry Division Guide
Call Of Duty WW2 Infantry Division Guide

Call Of Duty WW2 Infantry Division Guide

Today we are starting looking at the different divisions in Call Of Duty WWII. Starting with what many people class as the most basic Division, Infantry.

We feel that Infantry Division in Call Of Duty WWII is best for those who are either new to the game or who just like to jump in and do some of that classic, Call Of Duty run and gun action that we have all been doing for years.

Each division has its own division weapon class, but you can actually use any weapon you like, but you, of course, have specific division exclusive perks. In the case of Infantry division, it is all about moving quickly and blasting anything that gets in your way. For example, if you use the SMG, you may not be able to get the perk of adding a suppressor to it. But instead, you get the ability to add a few more extra attachments to your primary weapon (whatever it may be) as well as the ability to aim quicker.

So we would say that the infantry division in Call Of Duty WWII is perfect for those players who like their gameplay a little bit more fast paced. We would also suggest that you have a good read of the division to make sure you know what perks you are getting and how you need to level up. The semi-automatic rifle and the self-loading pistol that are the default weapons of this division are perfect for those players who want to just jump into the action. However, the tweaks that infantry division allows you to make to the weapons really can make you a deadly threat on the battlefield, especially if you are content to just run and gun, taking down anyone you come across and not worrying about your K/D ratio.

It seems like we cannot go more than a day without some kind of Call Of Duty WWII leak happening! Well, another one has taken place and this time it was from a very reliable source, a YouTuber who has leaked a ton of content from past Call Of Duty games.

Probably the most exciting thing that was revealed was that Gun Game is coming back. Many of us have had a blast with this mode over the years and found it odd that it was not in Call Of Duty WWII from the start. It is the mode where you start with a random gun and then each kill you get will make you change to a new gun.

Infected will be back and you can smash people in with a shovel when you are the one who is infected, this was one of the more fun modes from Infinite Warfare so it will be interesting to see if it is as much fun, without the robots!

It was also revealed that many more “objective based” game modes will be coming back such as Lockdown, Demolition, and Control. As well as the game modes a whole host of guns was also revealed in this leak.

While the leak was very exciting, no details are known on how this is going to be rolled out. Are all these new Call Of Duty WWII game modes going to come in one big update or are Sledgehammer going to roll them out slowly? Also now that we think about it, why the heck was most of these not included from launch? Perhaps the addition of War Mode is the reason why as Sledgehammer and Activision wanted all eyes on that?

How You Can Use Prop Hunt To Get Awesome Stuff In Call Of Duty WWII

How You Can Use Prop Hunt To Get Awesome Stuff In COD WWII

Use Prop Hunt To Get Awesome Stuff In COD WWII

It is no secret that I love Prop Hunt in Call Of Duty WWII, but today I want to tell you that as awesome as this game mode is. Rather than just jumping in an playing it over and over again, you can use Prop Hunt to help you get loot boxes and the pretty darn cool, Orso submachine gun.

When you fire up Call Of Duty WWII and go to the multiplayer section, head over to your headquarters. Talk to Major Howard and he will give you a bunch of special orders that are part of the Resistance event. The one you want to pick is right at the bottom and it is green. The goal of this order is to play 50 online matches, doing so will unlock the Orso submachine gun.

Now the reason you are picking Prop Hunt mode is, first of all, it is a lot of fun, but Prop Hunt has some neat Resistance Orders that are related to it. One is that you need to destroy so many props and the other is that you need to finish 25 matches in Prop Mode. So as well as helping you on your way to get the Orso submachine gun, it will help you get Resistance Loot boxes as well.

I really cannot stress enough how much fun Prop Hunt is and it is awesome how you can use it to make sure you have some extra cool stuff to use in Call Of Duty WWII.

Is Call Of Duty WWII Going To Be The Biggest Selling COD Game?

Is Call Of Duty WWII Going To Be The Biggest Selling COD Game?

Is Call Of Duty WWII Going To Be The Biggest Selling COD Game

To say that Call Of Duty WWII is a monster of a hit is a huge understatement. Despite only being released a few months before the end of the year, Call Of Duty WWII was the biggest selling game of 2017 and that has continued all the way into 2018 and it shows no signs of slowing down.

With the Call Of Duty Resistance Pack here, more people are probably going to pick the game up. I could not find the exact sales figures for Call Of Duty WWII, however, over in the UK, it has reached a series milestone as it has spent its tenth week at the top of the UK sales chart. Not only that it has been said that it sold over 60 percent more copies than Infinite Warfare which sold over 11 million copies. If you do the math, Call Of Duty WWII has to be at the 20 million mark at least so it is not totally unrealistic that in the next six months or so it could surpass, Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 which is the biggest selling game in the series with over 30 million copies sold.

I think the reason that this most recent COD is doing so well is all down to it not just returning to World War II. It is because it is one of the finest first person shooters of the last few years. It features an awesome campaign (that I have played through twice) a robust multiplayer mode, a fantastic zombies mode and it is going to be supported very well with DLC throughout the year. Even if you do not spend a penny on the DLC, you are still getting a ton of content for your money with just the basic package.

Sledgehammer Games deserve all the praise they are getting for Call Of Duty WWII and it would be great for them if they manage to take the Call Of Duty sales record.

Thoughts On Call Of Duty WWII On Xbox One X

When I picked up Call Of Duty WWII on launch day it was the PlayStation 4 version that I got. However this Christmas, Santa was very good to me and bought me a brand new Xbox One X. As I have a 4K TV, I was pretty excited about this. Now I was not really considering buying the Xbox One version of Call Of Duty WWII as I already had a ton of hours invested in the PlayStation 4 version…… but I ended up picking Call Of Duty WW2 on Xbox One.

Ok so I picked this up about a week ago and I have only dabbled a little bit in the online mode, but I have beaten the campaign (again) and I can tell you that while the graphical update is not a huge leap (PS4 does have HDR after all) I will say that there is a noticeable difference here. It is not like going from PS3 to PS4. But playing Call Of Duty WWII on Xbox One X is certainly clearer. I do not know if there would be any difference on a regular HD TV, but on my 4K TV, the Xbox One X version is noticeably sharper.

One thing that I have noticed even more than the sharper visuals is the load times. The Xbox One X loads things a hell of a lot quicker than the PlayStation 4 does so it is good to see that extra processing power at work.

The few online matches that I have tried so far have worked smooth as butter and the connection time if I am honest is no better or worse than what I was getting on my PlayStation 4. I am actually glad that I bought the Xbox One version of Call Of Duty WWII and I think I might ditch my progress on the PlayStation 4 in favor of this one. I am interested to see if Call Of Duty 2018 makes use of the extra power that the Xbox One X has.

What You Need To Know About The Call Of Duty WWII Resistance Event

What You Need To Know About The Call Of Duty WWII Resistance Event

What You Need To Know About The Call Of Duty WWII Resistance Event

Today I wanted to break down the essential information about what you can expect in the Call Of Duty WWII Resistance Event and all the DLC goodness that is coming as a result of it.

The Resistance Features

The Resistance event is running from the 23rd of January and will last until the 27th of February. Included with this is a free Resistance loot box each week, double XP playlists and Some new weapons such as the Orso Submachine Gun, the Volkssturmgewehr Assault Rifle and in the trailer, if you look closely enough, you can see a new knife and some kind of pistol as well.

New Game Modes

We have already talked about this, but as part of the Resistance event, two game modes will be added to Call Of Duty. Prop Hunt, which we have gone into detail about before. As well as this though is the return of Demolition mode which is a little bit like Search and Destroy. Hopefully, these modes will stick around after the event, but it sounds like once the event is over these modes will be gone, so enjoy them while you can.

New Division

The Resistance Division that is being added to Call Of Duty WWII sounds very interesting. I will be honest and say I do not think that I will be very good at using, but it sounds a lot of fun. The idea is that you dual wield a knife and a pistol so it is a run and gun, up close and personal kind of class. They also have a special ability that allows them to mess with the opposing team's maps and they even get a special minimap which sounds like it will come in handy.

The Call Of Duty WWII Resistance event sounds like it is going to be a blast and I plan on spending a lot of time with it, make sure you do too as these events come and go really fast!

Call Of Duty WW2 Xbox One Rapid Fire Controllers Ps4 Mods

With Call Of Duty WW2 being out for over a month now, some of you who purchased just the standard version of the game may be ready for something new. You have probably completed the campaign, played each multiplayer mode to death and fought on each map so many times that you know them like the back of your hand. Season passes are the done thing in games these days and while it may be easy to point at the Call Of Duty WW2 season pass and say it is Activision being greedy, we do not actually think that it is.

The other day we covered how the first DLC for Call Of Duty WWII is called the Resistance Pack and it is offering a whole lot of content including new maps, a new War Mode scenario and much more. It is a great way that you can have some extra fun with this year’s Cal Of Duty game.

We think that before you pass it off as just a cash grab, think about how much you like Call Of Duty WWII and if you do really like the game, what harm is there in paying a little bit more to get content throughout the next year? The season pass actually gets you four new packs (including January’s Resistance Pack) and each one is bound to feature similar content so you are actually getting quite a lot of content for your money.

If you bought Call Of Duty WWII, beat the campaign, dabbled a little bit in the multiplayer and have not really touched it for a couple of weeks, the season pass is not for you. But if you still find yourself firing up the game a few times a week, maybe even daily. You will certainly feel that the Call Of Duty WWII season pass is giving you very good value for money.

What Would Have Made The Call Of Duty WWII Campaign Better?

What Would Have Made The Call Of Duty WWII Campaign Better?

What Would Have Made The Call Of Duty WWII Campaign Better

Let me start by saying I do not think the campaign is bad at all. However, I just recently played through it for the second time on Xbox One X and I wanted to share a few of my thoughts on what I feel could have been added to make the campaign even more epic.

More Pierson

The most interesting character in Call Of Duty WWII for me was Pierson. First time I played through the campaign, I was not sure what to think about him, even after the reveal of what really happened at the Battle of Kasserine. However, I really do think that delving into his backstory a bit more, even letting us play a flashback of the Battle of Kasserine would have been great.

More Stealth

A couple of sections let you play as someone else other than Daniels. Rousseau was a very intriguing character who was a French resistance fighter who lost her husband and son at the hands of the Nazi’s. You get to play with her as she infiltrates a Nazi stronghold and the whole level is full of tension and drama. I would have loved more of this, maybe a section playing as Zuss right at the end?

More Optional Objectives

One of the things that you can do in the Call Of Duty WWII campaign is save a fallen soldier. Some levels have two, but it is usually three that you can drag to safety (which for some reasons makes the camera go to hell). I am not saying I would have liked more of this, but more optional objectives in general. There is another mission where you can decide to kill a certain Nazi official or you can not bother. I would have liked more things like this. Blow up that truck with supplies, take down that intelligence officer, save those men and so on.

In all the Call Of Duty WWII campaign is one of the best the series has had in a while and even playing through it a second time was a lot of fun.

The History Of The Rainbow Six Series Part 6

The History Of The Rainbow Six Series Part 6
The History Of The Rainbow Six Series Part 6

Get ready to dish out some more orders to your squad as we have a look at another one of the classic games in the Rainbow Six series.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Lockdown (2005) Xbox, PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube, PC

By now, Rainbow Six was one of the premier shooter franchises and for this installment, things to a bit more of an action heavy kind of feel. Once again you play as Rainbow team. In the year 2009, you have been tasked with putting a stop to a terrorist organization called Global Liberation Front who have a virus called Legion that they want to unleash.

The console versions of the game were certainly more action based. Added into the console versions were these sniper sections which had a real shooter gallery kind of feel as you had to pick off various targets. Interestingly these sniper sections were not in the PC game. While Rainbow Six Lockdown still featured many of the tactical elements from past games. Action certainly seemed to be the direction that Ubisoft wanted to take the series in.

This more action heavy game resulted in mixed reviews, especially for the PC version as many fans felt this was a dumbed down version of what they had come to love.

Both the PlayStation 2 and Xbox would get their own exclusive online mode with the PlayStation 2 having Rivalry and the Xbox having a mode called Persistent Elite Creation which was actually a huge deal and something many people got into. The GameCube version did not support online play, but it did have an exclusive 2 player co-op mode.

This is not one of the more popular games in the series and you could argue that the response it got made Ubisoft take a long hard look at the series.

Tips For The Call Of Duty WWII Campaign

Tips For The Call Of Duty WWII Campaign

Tips For The Call Of Duty WWII Campaign

I know that many people buy a Call Of Duty game and just skip the campaign. These people are doing themselves a huge disservice as honestly, most of the Call Of Duty campaigns are great and Call Of Duty WWII is no exception. I recently played the campaign for a second time (on a harder difficulty) and wanted to share a few tips with you.

Do Not Waste Health Packs!

In Call Of Duty WWII, you have no regenerating health and you can only carry four health packs at once. If you use a health pack to heal just a tiny bit of health, you have wasted that whole pack, only use a health pack if your health is at least half gone. Also remember that if you get stuck, you can get a health pack from Zussman.

Use The Most Powerful Weapons

You do not have to keep scrambling for new weapons as you keep running out of ammo. Call Of Duty WWII is actually very generous with its ammo crates. But even better than this is your squad mate Turner, who you can run to and he will fill up your ammo, no matter what weapon you have. So if you have one of the more powerful weapons and run out of ammo. Do not ditch it, make use of your pistol and make your way to Turner and he will hook you up.

Watch Out For Grenades

I would say that 9/10 times I died in the campaign it was because of a grenade. The Call Of Duty WWII campaign has a ton of stuff going on all the time so it can be hard to notice when the enemy throws a grenade. These guys are not shy about throwing grenades so keep an eye out for them.

Prop Hunt Mode Is Coming To Call Of Duty WWII

Prop Hunt Mode Is Coming To Call Of Duty WWII

To say that I have been having a blast with Call Of Duty WWII is a huge understatement and I am super pumped for the first DLC pack. The resistance is a limited time community event which starts on the 23rd of January. Included with this is a brand new Resistance Division which will have its own gear. A bunch of new weapons, double XP, Demolition Mode and most surprisingly of all, Prop Hunt Mode.

Prop Hunt Mode was kind of sneaked in here and many people did not even realize that it was part of this community event. Prop Hunt is a game mode that is just all about fun and having a good time with people online. If you do not know exactly what Prop Hunt is, let me explain it a little bit to you.

Call Of Duty WWII does have a few kind of stealthy sections, but Prop Hunt takes it to a new level. It is a team based mode where one team is tasked with hunting down the other team who are hiding. What makes this such a fun mode is that you get to hide as random objects like a bucket or a crate. It is up to the other team to figure out what seems out of place and blow it away!

Prop Hunt in Call Of Duty WWII is not a game mode that is meant to be taken seriously and if you are looking for a distraction to give you and your buddies some laughs, you will have a great time with Prop Hunt mode.

Does Call Of Duty WWII Nazi Zombies Need It's Own Game

Does Call Of Duty WWII Nazi Zombies Need It's Own Game

Does Call Of Duty WWII Nazi Zombies Prove This Mode Needs Its Own Game?

Does Call Of Duty WWII Nazi Zombies Prove This Mode Needs Its Own Game

It is pretty crazy to think of how basic the very first Call Of Duty Zombies mode was. Call Of Duty World At War basically saw you just defending your area from hordes of the undead. While this kind of gameplay mechanic has stuck with the series. It has progressed so much that many of us are looking as forward to the next installment of Call Of Duty Zombies as we are the full Call Of Duty game.

As you know, Call Of Duty WWII has Nazi Zombies and while I loved the campy and tongue in cheek style of Zombies In Space Land and the other expansions that were part of Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare. Call Of Duty WWII Nazi Zombies is perhaps the largest zombies mode in terms of its scope. The story is awesome, kind of like something you would actually see in a horror movie. Clearly, a ton of time was put into Nazi Zombies and I, along with many other people. Got more out of that story than the single player campaign that Call Of Duty WWII offered.

I think that it very well could be time for Call Of Duty Zombies to branch out and become its very own series. Some people may not be happy that a mode which was once a free addition to the main series is now its own thing. But if they went all out and stacked it with a really in depth story and other game modes. I feel that Call Of Duty Zombies could very well be its own franchise.

Call Of Duty WW11 Infantry Division Guide
Call Of Duty WW11 Infantry Division Guide

Battlefield 1 Turning Tides New Dlc Is On it's Way
Battlefield 1 Turning Tides New Dlc

To say Battlefield 1 was a huge success is a major understatement. Most of us had a blast with the first two expansions, but now more details have come forward about the Battlefield 1 Turning Tides expansion that is starting December 2017.

Notice we said starting, that is because this expansion is not all coming at once. Instead, it is coming in waves and it will be released gradually over the course of a few weeks.

The first part of the Battlefield 1 Turning Tides expansion is super jacked! To start with it has two new maps in Achi Baba and Cape Helles. Also, the Gallipoli Operation that is also part of this expansion will make use of these new maps. A load of new weapons including both guns and melee weapons along with an Infiltrator Elite Class that we can have fun with. One other thing we have to mention that is coming is the awesome, Conquest Assault Mode that was a huge hit in past Battlefield games is coming back.

Shortly after this in January the next part of the Battlefield 1 Turning Tides expansion will be released. Once again you will have two new maps to have fun with these are Heligoland Bight and Zeebrugge. As well as these new maps there is also a brand new faction, the British Empire’s Royal Marines.

We think that these new maps, modes, and other goodies are sure to breathe a lot more life into Battlefield 1 and our modded controllers can make sure you rule these new maps with an iron fist. If you are lucky enough to have the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass then you will be able to enjoy the Turning Tides expansion a couple of weeks early!

The History Of The Rainbow Six Series Part 8 Vegas
The History Of The Rainbow Six Series Part 8

What we are looking at today may actually be the first Rainbow Six game that many people played!

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas (2006/2007) Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3

The best way to think of Rainbow Six Vegas is as a whole new ball game for the series as this in many ways is actually serving as a reboot of the series. Ubisoft had a clear vision for what they wanted Rainbow Six to be going forward.

As you would expect the story is set in Vegas one of the tourist hot spots of the world. The basics of the story are that Las Vegas is going to be hit with one of the worst terrorist attacks of all time and only Rainbow team can stop it. One of the interesting things about the story is that you experience the majority of it in game and not with lengthy cut scenes. It actually works very well and immerses you in the action.

Gameplay wise, Ubisoft really changed things up as Rainbow Six Vegas feels like no other Rainbow Six game. While you could still give orders to your teammates (which you did with the d pad) things like regenerating health, 3rd person cover shooter sections and the fact that missions had checkpoints gave the game a much more action packed feel than any other game in the series. One of the coolest things they added was using ropes to move up and down the building all the while shooting! Gameplay was nice and tight and for many was that perfect blend of being action packed while also offering tactical based gameplay.

Rainbow Six Vegas was a huge hit. It was very well received, people love the single player campaign and multiplayer was very popular as well. In all, it was a great reboot of the series and actually introduced many new players to the series as well.

What Next For Call Of Duty After World War 2?

While we have spent a lot of time playing the beta of Star Wars Battlefront 2. One of the main things that our modded PS4, Xbox One, and PC controllers are designed in mind with is, of course, Call Of Duty.

As we all know, Call Of Duty is at this point, weeks away and we are very excited for it. Many fans of the series were super stoked when Activision announced that they were going back to the series roots by setting the game during World War 2. Call Of Duty World War II is one of the most anticipated games in the series history, but where does Activision go from here?

The next Call Of Duty game for 2018 at this point will have been in the oven for at least a year, ready for the inevitable October/November release. But what could it be? Here at Mods “R” Us, we have asked around the office and one thing that is continuously brought up is the Vietnam War.

Some games have used the Vietnam War as their backdrop before, but we think a modern Call Of Duty set during this time period has the potential to be truly epic. We are not even talking about the multiplayer here! The storytelling in the Call Of Duty games the last decade has been incredible and setting a COD game during this time period could give it a Full Metal Jacket, Platoon, Apocalypse Now kind of vibe.

We have a comments section down below and we would love to hear what kind of setting you would like to see in the next Call Of Duty game.

Call of Duty Controllers Xbox One

We love Call Of Duty WWII and with the Thanksgiving Double XP Weekend here, we thought we would give you some tips on ways you can make the most of it and level up even faster!

Play War Mode

War Mode is already a ton of fun, but if you play it correctly, you can really rack up some major XP. By playing it correctly, we mean actually completing your objectives and not just running around killing people. War Mode can be a gold mine if you are completing objectives and picking up a win, even more so this weekend.

Hardpoint And Domination Are Good Too

We get that a game of War Mode can last quite a while, but if you want something quick, fast and more traditional Call Of Duty, we suggest you play as many games of Hardpoint and Domination as you can. Do not just try and survive though, get in there, get the objectives done and get the matches over as quickly as possible, you can really make some nice XP this way.

WWII Orders And Contracts

Ok so WWII Orders tend to be supply drops, but we have gotten some nice XP boosts by completing WWII. Likewise taking the time to do some of the contracts, ones that you are actually good at is a fantastic way for you to earn a little extra XP on top of what you are already doing, especially during the Call Of Duty WWII Double XP Weekend.

The is no shortcut to getting XP in Call Of Duty, but make sure when you are in a game, you actually play and if it is an objectives based game mode, do the objectives, you do this and you will notice your XP really start to increase.

What New Game Modes Be In Call Of Duty 2018

What New Game Modes Be In Call Of Duty 2018?

What New Game Modes Be In Call Of Duty 2018

Ok, so we are all still having a blast with Call Of Duty WWII and we still have multiple DLC packs to play with, but that does not stop me from looking to the future and wondering what Treyarch has in store for us this year.

Call Of Duty WWII did so many things right. It had a fantastic single player campaign, Nazi Zombies is awesome and War Mode is one of the best new additions to Call Of Duty in years! It got me thinking, War Mode was so much fun and Nazi Zombies with its horror theme was such a fresh approach, what could Treyarch do in order to make Call Of Duty 2018 really wow us?

As much as I want another zombies mode, maybe they could change it up a bit. I know that we have had Aliens in the past in Call Of Duty Ghosts, but I think this could work really well again. Maybe have it set on a space station or during an alien invasion? I think if done right putting us against aliens could be every bit as fun as zombies.

Another fun idea for a side mode in Call Of Duty 2018 is monsters! We have taken down hordes of the undead, but what about if we now have to take down a series of monsters ranging from vampires, werewolves, gargoyles and so much more. It sounds nuts but done in the right way, I feel this could be a lot of fun. Especially if you had to have certain weapons to defeat certain enemies silver bullets for werewolves and steaks for vampires for example.

I would love to know what side modes you would like to see added to Call Of Duty 2018 in the comments section.

Bringing War Mode To Call Of Duty WWII Zombies!

Bringing War Mode To Call Of Duty WWII Zombies

As you have probably guessed if you have been reading the blog the last few weeks, War Mode is one of the things that I have had a lot of fun with during my time with Call Of Duty WW2. It is just so much fun and it makes each battle I am in feel like it truly means something. Not just that, but it is so much fun and each match I do not know if I am going to be the guy who has to go and complete the objectives or if I am going to be a diversion, drawing away enemy fire.

Well, War Mode and Zombies are both fantastic in Call Of Duty WW2, so I was thinking what if they brought War Mode to Zombies? I think it may be a little late to do that with COD WW2, but it is certainly something that I would like to see implemented in the next Call Of Duty game.

So how would this work? Well in Call Of Duty Zombies in the past, we have had to build up walls and stuff to keep the undead at bay. I think taking that to the next step with objectives that fit in with the zombie theme and whatever story the zombie's mode is trying to tell would be great. I think that it would of course initially be a PvE type of game mode, but what if they kicked it up a notch and hade PvP and let us play as the zombies?

I think that Call Of Duty WWII has one of the best zombie modes to date and whatever comes next has a really tough task in trying to top it. Putting in elements of War Mode is one way that they could do that.

One Thing That Call Of Duty Does Not Get Enough Credit For

As you know here at Mods “R” Us, we are huge fans of Call Of Duty and have been having a great time with Call Of Duty WWII and feel that it is one of the best entries in the series so far. To be honest with you, Call Of Duty is a series that has had far more hits than misses and even the games that are classed as misses (Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare) are not actually bad games at all.

What I want to talk about today is how underappreciated the multiplayer in Call Of Duty is…… “what” is maybe what you are thinking of right now. But it is not the online multiplayer that I am talking about, but the local split screen. This is something Call Of Duty does better than any other first person shooter. Many games, great games like Overwatch and Titanfall 2 are great games, but they do not allow you to play with a buddy sitting right next to you.

In the early days of Call Of Duty, the local co-op was a big deal, I still remember awesome four player games on the GameCube! It is great that they have not lost sight of this and allow you and a friend to not only play online together, but you can sit next to each other and play split screen as you do. Playing Zombies like this is one of my favorite things to do in Call Of Duty WWII and it is something I cannot recommend highly enough.

It is easy to call out Activision for the annual Call Of Duty series, but not enough people give them credit for the things they do right such as being one of the only major first person shooter games to still offer split screen multiplayer action.
