Fortnite Launches A Rocket From Anarchy Acres

After Watching Fortnite's clock and it finally hit zero. Today's event was the launch of the rocket in Acres, and it's left a tear within the sky when finished.

Fortnite this was to a one-time event, a rocket launch. We've speculated that it'd have one thing to try to to with Season five. Season four began during a similar manner with the impact of the rocket, and so far, we all know Season five has been excited and mysterious.

If you joined the event nowadays, it went like this: The rocket launched from the Anarchy Acres and into the sky. The rocket disappeared then reappeared close and It then shot towards the sky, and created the ripple within the sky

At this point, we're unsure what this suggests, or what the electrical charges seen on top of might be. But, there was a lot of different things happening within the world of battle buses and stink bombs this weekend. it is a double XP weekend on all of Fortnite's platforms and therefore came back for Week nine challenges. Playground mode was delayed to next week and replaced by a fifty versus fifty limited-time mode instead.

Getting The PC Ready For Battlefield 5 Closed Alpha

By the time you read this, you may have already received your invite, but DICE and EA have sent out the invites for their closed alpha of Battlefield 5.
A little while ago, EA “accidentally” posted the PC requirements for Battlefield V on their website. Nearly as quickly as they were put up they were ripped right down, but that did not stop eagle-eyed gamers seeing it and fast-fingered gamers snapping screenshots. Well now EA has released what the PC specs are for this closed alpha and, to be honest with you they are pretty much the same.
In all honesty, the specs from what I can tell are very similar to what Battlefield 1 requires. So if your PC is able to run Battlefield 1 I see no reason at all why you cannot play Battlefield V.

Looking over the specs I do not think that they are too much at all. I think we still have a year or two to go before gaming PC’s are going to see a radical jump in what games need from them in order to run on at least the minimum settings. I have spoken before about the Cod Black Ops Pass for Cod Black Ops 4. I can see why some people are not too keen on this.

For one thing most parts of the world still have no idea how much the Black Ops Pass is going to cost in their area and also Activision has a strict all or nothing approach with DLC in regards to Cod Black Ops 4.

I am just picking up the map packs is something that a couple of buddies of mine have said multiple times over the years in regards to past Cod games. For some people, the online multiplayer is all they care about. They are not interested in zombies and just want more maps to play on.

This is something that is completely understandable and before being able to cherry pick the pieces of DLC you want was good. For me, I always felt that the season pass offered the best value for money for me personally. However if you are not into zombies why pay the extra few bucks for the season pass over what just getting the maps will cost you?

Going into Black Ops 4 I (and many others) thought that with Activision talking about splitting the player base with new maps that they might make them all free. That is not the case as Cod Black Ops 4 is going to have 12 new maps as part of the Black Ops Pass.

Getting 12 maps is incredible and if the Black Ops Pass is priced in a similar fashion as to what the season passes have been in the past it is excellent value for money. Still there are many people out there who are not happy that Activision has taken away the ability to just buy map packs and you have to wonder if these people will pass on all the DLC for Cod Black Ops 4.

3 New Basic Trainings Coming To Call Of Duty WW2

In the excitement of the brand new division, The Cavalry being added to Call Of Duty WW2. I had my head in the clouds and missed the fact that we are also getting three new basic training and it seems like the guys and gals at Sledgehammer Games have done a lot of work in making these as much fun as possible.

Escalation

If you love rushing with an SMG this is for you Once you get a kill you can then aim down your sites at double speed for a limited time. What is so cool about this? Well, it lets you aim super quick at the enemy to take them down. Even more awesome is that double kills will refill you magazine instantly so you do not have to reload. I actually love using an SMG so this is one perk I will be getting a lot of use out of.

Wanderlust

As well as being a kick-ass song by one of my favorite rock bands, Fozzy. Wanderlust is also a pretty interesting basic training. The idea here is that when you die, you will respawn with a random gun which can have up to size attachments. Even just switching your weapon will give you something new. This sounds like a lot of fun and something I am sure will be very amusing when playing online with friends.

Specialist

This one sounds kind of interesting. You pick three basic trainings that you can earn instead of scorestreaks. So at 200, you unlock one then at 400 the second and then at 600 you unlock the third. At 800 you get access to all the basic trainings in the game! This sounds super overpowered, but when you die it resets to zero so you have to start again. This is a lot of risk and reward and if you can make it to 800……. You will be a real badass!

Call Of Duty WW2 Gets New Division The Cavalry

We spoke yesterday about how Sledgehammer Games/Activision had released a new division coming to Call Of Duty WWII. Well, the cat is out of the bag now and we know that this brand new division is called The Cavalry!

The description that is being thrown around online to describe The Calvary is objective focused class. It is a division that is aimed at people who love to play as part of a team and I think that it sounds very interesting.

That riot shield in the teaser image is called the Cavalry Shield and only this division can use it. You can use this to give yourself some protection against the enemy and you can use it as you run with the Shield Charge ability which sounds very handy. The Cavalry Division has some very interesting perks for specific game modes. For example, in War Mode, they can build and destroy walls quickly. In Domination they can capture flags quicker and they can put down bombs much quicker in Search And Destroy. These are just some of the perks that this new division has.

The Cavalry Division also gets a higher score from doing objectives and getting two assists will count as one kill. I think this sounds like it is going to be a very interesting division to play as, especially in War Mode where their perks will come in very handy.

No date for the update that is going to have The Cavalry Division has been given yet, but over on their Reddit page, Sledgehammer Games have said that it is coming soon.

A New Division Is On Its Way To Call Of Duty WW2

Not only is Call Of Duty WW2 one of the best games in the entire franchise. Sledgehammer Games have been awesome with not just giving us a lot of extra content but in keeping us up to date with what is happening in the game.
The most recent community update saw them tease a possible new division being added to the game. They said that a game update is coming next week. I am assuming this will be when the Attack Of The Dead community event ends. However as well as this they teased us some more with an image.

The image shows a soldier who is sporting a riot shield and some pretty interesting clothing. His face is covered with a scarf like thing and his sleeves are rolled up. Plus the emblem on him does not look like any of the other division logos.

I have no idea what this new division could be. The riot shield appears to be the specialty of whatever it turns out to be. Maybe it is a division that is the first line of defense type of deal? I am sure that all will be revealed in the next couple of days.

So be sure to keep an eye out for the next Call Of Duty WW2 update. I always love to play as a new type of character…. Although to be honest I am so stuck in my ways that I will probably have a play around with it and then go straight back to the Infantry Division.

What To Expect With Battlefield 5 Battle Royale

Battlefield 5 Battle Royale is happening! I kind of thought that it would be, even when the folks at DICE were being very coy about the idea.

While not a lot of information (actually next to none has) about Battlefield 5 Battle Royale has been given out. DICE have confirmed that Battle Royale is not going to come at the expense of anything else in the game.

I think this is great news. We are getting that classic Battlefield multiplayer experience that we all know and love. We are also getting an actual single-player campaign and of course, we are also getting a Battle Royale mode.

Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 is pinning most of its hopes on their Battle Royale mode, Blackout and to be fair it looks fantastic. It is going to be very interesting to see what DICE do with their Battle Royal mode in Battlefield 5.

Over the years I have found that Battlefield is a game that is best played as a team. Playing as a lone wolf never seems to work. However, in a Battle Royale mode, even your best buddies can be your enemies! So I am very interested to see how it is going to play out.

I think squads in Battlefield v Battle Royale have the potential to be something very special as I have come across some very well oiled teams in my years playing Battlefield and I would love to see how an actual team handles a Battle Royale mode.

Hopefully, EA and DICE will be giving us more information about the Battle Royale mode in Battlefield 5 later this week, but it is fun to think about what they might do!

Fortnite Is Getting Some Major Updates Soon

Fortnite has more than 125 million players right now. Fortnite is looking to change the gameplay. They are making changes to weapons balances and caps on equipment. The quote Building without limits is the core of the gameplay of Fortnite and limiting that could be negative to lot of players.

Fortnite is exploring ways to change the gameplay in Battle Royale so the last few minutes of each match dont end with just build as much as you can.

Players who reach the end of a given match in Fortnite are likely to encounter rockets and all out building plus many shotguns. The superiority of shotguns & rockets, and uncapped building are such a dominant play style in the final circle that most other strategies are being drowned out the posts. what changes are on the way? when? This is not clear yet. They are not saying but some changes to weapons including weapon balances and resources like caps said about upcoming changes to game.

You are just gonna have situations where a bad players are just spraying bullets shooting at you then and you run out of materials and die. That would make a good player get ticked off.

The Battle Royale gameplay mode in general from Fortnite to PUBG and others joining the band wagon fortnite wants to continue improving its game. If the game stays the same forever starts to get boring in and players will loose interest in fortnite if the game makes to many changes it risks loosing players. We Will know more in the upcoming weeks.

More Multiplayer Maps Coming To Call Of Duty WW2

I have already talked about the new DLC pack for Call Of Duty WW2, United Front, but here I want to talk a little more about the maps and the new War Mode scenario.

Multiplayer Maps

Once again there are three new maps coming in this DLC pack.
Market Garden: One of the most famous airborne operations in the whole war! That is what makes Market Garden such an exciting prospect as a multiplayer map. This map is set in the Netherlands and from what I can tell it is a really snug, up close and personal kind of map.

Monte Cassino

I think this could be the most fun map out of the three. Set in Italy and under a mountaintop monastery. There are rooftops you can use to snipe people and lots of areas that you can use to flank the enemy. For those that love to work as a team and put a plan together, you are going to have a lot of fun on this map.

Stalingrad

This map is based around the largest event in the second world war. The map seems very interesting with a base on both sides and a center point that appears to be one of those areas where if you can take control of it, you can take control of the game. There are underground tunnels that you can use to try and get behind your enemy.

War Mode

Operation Supercharge

The new scenario for War Mode is called Operation Supercharge. Set in Tunisia. When you are playing as the Allies you need to grab the supplies, blow up a bridge and take over the Axis fortifications. I like the sound of this new scenario and I am looking very forward to playing it with my friends. I am really liking what they are doing with this DLC pack!. Call Of Duty WW2 United Front is coming to PlayStation 4 on the 26th of June and Xbox One and PC the following month.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds new map (Sanhok) will release on Fri June 22 18. It's a small area map 4km x 4km a 25% the size of the other two maps. This will make the gameplay much quicker and will come with a special weapon that will only be available on the (Sanhok) map releasing now will be only on the PC version for now released to xbox one at a later date.

The new pubg map (Sanhok) it self has been changed a bit since players first saw it on test servers back in early May the (Sanhok) map will spawn new weapons more faster than other PUBG maps The new rifle that is on the (Sanhok) map it looks the SCAR and be more available to players for faster gameplay.

Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII Free Content Will Be Included

We all know that the whole Black Ops Pass thing that is coming to Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII is not sitting well with some players. It appears to be an all or nothing kind of deal as Activision are not allowing different DLC to be sold separately. Well, some good news is that there could be a lot of free DLC coming to Black Ops IIII.

YouTuber, Drif0r spoke to one of the Activision reps during E3 and he had some promising news regarding Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII and the DLC.

Activision is planning to have a lot of free content for Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII. While they did not get into specifics, Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII is scheduled to have more free content than any other COD game that has come before it.

I think one of the best things about Call Of Duty WWII has been the three different community events we have had. Well, Activision is planning on having more community events than what WWII has had!

There was talk about on Black Ops Pass owners getting the chance to try out some of the DLC maps during events and special occasions.

It is easy to see why so many people are not too happy about the Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII Black Ops Pass. However, if Activision is going to be supporting the game with even more free events and content than they have done for WWII that is great news!

Battlefield 5 Closed Alpha Coming Soon

One of the many first person shooter games that is coming later this year which is not getting as much attention as I thought it would is Battlefield 5.

Perhaps it is because people are not happy with what EA did with Star Wars Battlefront 2 or maybe it is because last year’s Call Of Duty WW2 already took us back to World War 2 and did a great job in doing so? No matter what, Battlefield 5 feels like it has 5ery little fanfare, especially compared to Battlefield 1.

Battlefield 5 is due out this October so many of us have been wanting a little bit of news in regards to when the first opportunity for us to test this game is going to happen.
A gentleman by the name of Jim Hejl who works at EA as a principal software engineer had this to say about Battlefield 5 on his Twitter.

“There will be a Closed Alpha for Battlefield 5. (You’ll hear more about it later this month)
I will ha5e a block of codes and we’re gonna have a “Content Creation Contest” to give them away!”

Clearly, the folks at EA did not want this news getting out here just yet as it was quickly taken down, but not before many eagle-eyed Battlefield fans snapped a screenshot. While it is good news to know that the closed alpha is very close. What I am more excited for is that this means that some kind of open beta could very well be happening the following month.

Activision has done so much right with their hype for Call Of Duty Black Ops 4. I really could not be any more excited and while I was not too happy that they ditched the single player campaign. The more story focused zombies mode made up for that in my opinion.

We all knew that Call Of Duty Black Ops 4 was going to have DLC. However, the details have now emerged and in place of what is usually called “the season pass,” we have The Black Ops Pass.

The Black Ops Pass gives you a lot of content. It gives you an extra zombies scenario to play on launch day as well as access to four more during the year. Four extra characters for Blackout which is their Battle Royale mode and 12 multiplayer maps. If you think that you would just like the zombies content so you will just get that….. tough! You buy the Black Ops Pass and get it all or you get none!

It is a very strange decision for Activision to make and they have not yet given a price for the Black Ops Pass. In the past you could just buy what you wanted for a Call Of Duty game, but not this time. If you only like the multiplayer mode and do not care for zombies it does not matter and you have to pay for the zombies content as well.

Many people are not happy about this and are asking why they have changed the way they handle DLC. Treyarch has come out and tried to explain what they are going for, but a lot of people are not happy.

Another strange thing about the Black Ops Pass is that leading up to this game we heard about how the player base always gets split for Call Of Duty with some people having the new maps and some not having them. Well, it looks like it is going to happen again this year too.

I am all in with this new zombies mode and I like to get new maps so it does not bother me, but I can see why some people are upset.

Will There Be Women In Battlefield 5

There are times when I am scrolling through Twitter when I will see something that makes me literally say out loud “REALLY????” and the whole #NotMyBattlefield was one of those things.

Battlefield V received some criticism from a very loud minority of fans in regards to featuring women in Battlefield V. There were no women in World War II is one of the ridiculous things I read time and time again along with people saying how historically inaccurate the game is now that they have included women.

Battlefield is not about being 100 percent historically accurate, but women did play an important role in World War II. I am not saying there was an army of women on the actual battlefield, but then again I was never actually there so I do not know for sure. What I do know is that women were an integral part of the Allies.

EA since Star Wars Battlefront II released have been doing all they can to be seen as the good guys and the people who listen to the fans. Thankfully they are ignoring the vocal minority and have actually come out and said,

"The common perception is that there were no women in World War II. There were a ton of women who both fought in World War II and partook in the war."

But the line I love from a recent interview is this,

You have two choices: either accept it or don't buy the game.

Will I personally play as a woman in the game? Well if I have to in the story I guess I will, but in multiplayer I have to be honest and say that it would not bother me in the slightest if it spawned me in as a woman and I really do not know why so many people are up in arms about this.

I am really looking forward to Battlefield V and think that it is going to be a lot of fun. I will be the first to say that EA makes some very questionable decisions, but this certainly is not one of them and now that they have said that women are here to stay in the game. Hopefully, this whole #NotMyBattlefield will go away.

Call Of Duty WW2 Added Relic Of The Undead Game Mode!

The Call Of Duty WW2 Attack Of The Undead has been a lot of fun. I swear that the community events have just gotten better and better and this one so far is the best. I may go as far to say that this is the most fun I have had in a community event since they were introduced into Call Of Duty WWII.

Last week we got a fun new game mode called, Hordepoint and it was awesome. Well once again for the third week, Sledgehammer Games have given us another limited time game mode to enjoy, Relic Of The Undead.

Relic Of The Undead is nuts! The idea of the game mode is that there is a special zombie head and let me tell you that this is the most important zombie head in the world. Not only do you need to grab it, you need to keep hold of it so that you can capture its soul. Of course, the enemy also want this zombie head so you have to keep running and hope that the squad is going to have our back. When you capture the soul another zombie's head appears and it is round 2.

This mode is so much fun and the couple of times I have managed to get the zombie's head have filled me with panic and even though I know the maps quite well I have been just running around like a maniac trying not to get shot and have my zombie head taken away from me.

I know that all the focus this week is on E3, but Sledgehammer Games have knocked it out of the park again with this Call Of Duty WWII Relic Of The Undead game mode. It is only available until the 19th of June so enjoy it while you can.

Fortnite Battle Royale 4.4 Update Lands Today

While many people are caught up in all the E3 hype which I get as so far we have seen just incredible game after incredible game be shown. Many of us are still hooked on Fortnite Battle Royale and the latest update, 4.4 has gone live.

The Thermal Scope Assault Rifle is something that has gotten many people excited and I have already been killed by it numerous times! The weapon is pretty powerful, but if you suck at aiming it does not give you an edge like it does a real marksman.

Sniper Shootout is here so if that is your idea of fun, you will have a blast with that. It is worth noting that you cannot use the crossbow as it has been replaced with the scoped assault rifles. 50 v 50 V3 has a larger circle that is forcing you into the middle of the map and there is a ton and I mean a ton of supply drops in the circle so it is worthwhile not messing around and making your way into is as soon as you can.

One very huge change that you will notice is the huge ass soccer stadium that Epic Games have put there. This stadium is huge and it is clearly there to celebrate the world cup. The other change to the map is the emergence of the supervillain who has emerged from the meteorite in Dusty Divot. The rocket is now out of the silo and that cannot be good news for any of us!

Of course, some bug fixes and other additions have been made as part of Fortnite Battle Royale 4.4. So be sure to have a look around and see what differences you notice. By the way, good luck checking out the soccer stadium, that place is a war zone and when you are fighting it out underneath it, you are in very close quarters so be careful and have a powerful gun so you can quickly blow an enemy away.

Battlefield 5 Will Have A Battle Royale Gaming Mode

Most likely you are hooked on E3 like I am right now. However, before this, we got to see what EA have in store for us at their EA Play event and I was very interested to see more of Battlefield V.

While the story trailer is something that really got me excited, so excited that I have watched it a couple of times now. It was the announcement that Battlefield V is going to feature a Battle Royale mode.

This took me by surprise as this was something that Dice said would be a good fit for Battlefield V, but most of us assumed that if it was coming it would be something that was added to the game at a much later date. We now know that Battle Royale is going to be a big feature of Battlefield V and that it will feature vehicles and team-based combat.

No other information was given on this, but it has got people talking, probably not as much as the folks at Dice and EA would have liked though. There was a lot of news when it was announced that Activision was bringing Battle Royale to Call Of Duty Black Ops IIII, but there has not been the same amount of fanfare or hype for Battlefield V.

Dice though are promising that their Battle Royale (whatever it turns out to be) will be its own thing and not like all the rest so that sounds very, very interesting. Perhaps they are going to keep the Battle Royale fun and mayhem, but add a bit more of a tactical twist to it?

I think that this announcement has already kind of got lost in the shuffle as a lot of fantastic stuff has been revealed at E3 2018 in the first two days already, but I am very interested to see more of Battlefield V!
